Honey Monster Foods owner Raisio has promoted Paul Simmonds to head up a new pan-European consumer brands division.
Simmonds was previously responsible for the Western Europe food business, which has been amalgamated with the Northern Europe and Eastern Europe arms to create the consumer brands division.
In his new role as vice president of consumer brands, Simmonds will oversee brands including Honey Monster and The Dormen.
Benecol will be looked after separately in a newly created licensed brands division, which will initially comprise just Benecol. The brand’s current chief, Vincent Poujardieu, will head up the division while continuing to serve as vice president of group business development.
Both Simmonds and Poujardieu will report to Raisio chief executive Matti Rihko.
