Employees at not for profit company One Brand have carried their entire day’s supply of water to work to draw attention to World Water Day yesterday.

They each carried tubs of water over London’s Waterloo Bridge to highlight the problems faced by over 780 million people in the developing world when it comes to having decent access to water.

One Brand, whose products include handwash, toilet paper and eggs, donates 100% of its profits to life-changing projects in developing countries.

International World Water Day is held every year on 22 March to focus attention on the importance of freshwater and the sustainable management of freshwater resources.
