Typhoo has enlisted the help of students from Liverpool John Moores University to create a video for its digital marketing campaign.
The students pitched ideas to Typhoo who then selected five to be turned into videos. The videos were then loaded up on the Typhoo YouTube channel and Facebook page where fans could vote for their favourite.
The winning video, which features topless male dancing and tea drinking, will be used in Typhoo’s digital marketing – designed to help the company reach a new, younger audience.
“Winning the Typhoo UniversiTEA Challenge felt like parachuting off a cliff and landing in a box of soft tea bags,” said the winner Joe Woodhouse. “I feel the competition was an excellent way to introduce students to the world of advertising and I’m happy everyone enjoyed the art of topless dancing and chest stroking”
