Fowler Welch has won a new multimillion-pound logistics contract with own label drinks manufacturer Cott.

The Spalding-based distributor will manage the supply chain from Cott’s canning and bottling facility in Nelson, Lancashire, as part of a two-year contract. It will also handle about 15,000 pallets through Fowler Welch’s NDC in Heywood, Manchester. The deal builds on an existing storage and distribution contract spanning “several years,” Fowler Welch explained.

“We’re delighted to be continuing to work with a global business such as Cott,” said MD Nick Hay. “The contract really demonstrates the diversity of our offering across all stages of warehousing and distribution.”
