Consumers have been warned not to drink a brand of vodka made in Belgium which may contain high levels of methanol.

The Food Standards Agency said Original Vodka Russia Export Quality has been sent for testing after two women were admitted to hospital in East Lothian, Scotland, after drinking the suspect vodka.

The FSA said that the reverse label of the bottles are marked LO 958, Bar code: 5414145035066.

The origin of the vodka is not yet known, nor is where the vodka might be on sale.
