Gallo is increasing the activity behind its premium Turning Leaf range as part of a £2.5m budget for all its UK wine brands for the rest of the year. Turning Leaf is the Californian's offering in the £5 to £7 category, the fastest growing wine sector. Marketing controller Ian Belcher said: "At this time of year people trade up and we expect to see very strong sales. This is helped by the grocers who are now stocking a full range of wines between £6 and £9." Gallo has devised a campaign which includes double page spreads in weekend supplements and style magazines, posters on the London Tube and a radio campaign on Classic and Jazz FM. {{DRINKS }}
