Britvic is to soak its top-selling lines with multi-million pound marketing spends this summer.
First up is a £6m campaign for Tango,timed to coincide with the Euro 2004 football championships in Portugal.
Breaking on June 9, activity is set to include daily radio reports from a new Fred Card character who will be leading a ‘Make some noise for the boys’ push on commercial airwaves.
A football commentary version of a former Tango cinema execution is also planned, while 250,000 inflatable Tango ‘boomers’ are
set to be distributed through football magazines and events.
The activity will precede new can and bottle designs being introduced in July and an improved Cherry variant.
New bottle designs are also planned for Robinsons High Juice and Barley Water.
