Pernod Ricard is tapping into the growth in premium Spanish wines by launching a new wine to its Campo Viejo brand in the UK this week.

Dominio de Campo Viejo Reserva 2001, which will have an rsp of £12.99, is made from 100% tempranillo grapes and aged for 14 months in French and American oak.

It gained a place in the top 100 New Wave Spanish Wine 2007 Awards.

Adrian Atkinson, wine development director at Pernod Ricard UK, said: "Campo Viejo's ability to deliver quality and value at all price points is key to encouraging UK consumers to trade up and buy premium Rioja over £10."
