Chris Swain, 37,purchasing manager for a government agency, from Godalming, Surrey I would naturally favour this beer as I think eastern European bottled lagers have more taste. The packaging does not stand out, but it is aesthetically pleasing. The colours look right, using the same gold, brown and red as Budvar, a favourite of mine. The pricing seems reasonable, but at 99p for one and £3.99 for four it is more expensive to buy a four pack! The smell seems OK, but the taste lacks body, it is a bit light, but not unpleasant, certainly better than Budweiser or Beck's. I like the screw lid, no-one else does that I think, but it is difficult to twist it off, so I would probably stick with a bottle opener if I had one available. I think this beer has a good chance of succeeding in the 30 to 40-year-old age range, I think its a male thing. I would buy it myself, but I wouldn't choose it over Budvar, Holsten Pils or Staropramen. Rating out of 25  19 {{DRINKS }}
