Julie Cook, 31, teaches at an international school in Stockholm I wouldn’t normally drink Riesling, but I enjoyed trying this one. The colour is quite pale and the wine smells fresh and citrusy. I like the taste and it is dryer than average German Rieslings. It has a lively taste and is crisp, rounded and full. It even has a pleasant aftertaste, lacking from most Rieslings. The bottle is classy and elegant, the smooth lines are very appealing, and it would definitely stand out on the shelf. The fact it is Penfolds would make me feel confident about buying it. I would feel happy taking it to someone’s house, and I’d definitely recommend it to others. But I would probably drink it as an aperitif rather than with a meal. Rating out of 25  20 {{DRINKS }}
