A new range of flowering teas from US company Numi are a unique blend of leaves and flowers that unfurl into various shapes when steeped in hot water, offering both visual and taste stimulation with an array of unusual characteristics, aromas and tastes.
The eight teas, which are sold in 227g bags and in bamboo packs of varying weights, are being showcased at the Speciality and Fine Food Show on September 4-6.
Jeremy Torz, co-director of Union Coffee Roasters, which supplies the products to independents in the UK, said that, with an rsp of around £10, the products target the most discerning tea drinkers.
