Philadelphia is adding two Mediterranean variants to its range of reduced-fat cream cheeses.

The flavours sun-dried tomato & basil and grilled peppers will roll into the multiples on 1 March (rsp: £1.47 for a 200g tub).

There will be digital and in-store activity to support the launch, on top of a £6.5m UK marketing budget for the brand in 2011.

Bruce Newman, marketing manager for cheese and dairy at Kraft Foods UK, said: "Adding new flavours to the Philadelphia range makes it more versatile as an ingredient."
