Tea and coffee company Taylors of Harrogate has updated the packaging of its entire roasting coffee range in a bid to reflect more strongly the character of each blend.

Each of the nine varieties in the Signature Blends range are linked to a particular mood or time of day, such as Lazy Sunday or Take It Easy. The company said its sophisticated new designs were now more appropriate to the market position of each variant.

“The premise of the new design was to make it easier for consumers to choose which blend best suited their particular needs,” said Taylors coffee brand manager Kevin Sinfield.

The company has also added two new coffees to the range: the “rich and citric-flavoured” Café Brasilia and Taylors’ first Espresso coffee.

All the blends are on sale at Asda, Tesco and Waitrose, with an rsp of between £2.49 and £2.89.
