Maxxium has spruced up its Teacher's whisky bottle with a more contemporary design that highlights its 45% malt content for the first time.

The label is smaller in size and features an updated logo and a new white, black and gold livery. In a bid to give the bottle a more premium appeal, the bottle has been re-shaped and embossed with the brand crest.

The new bottles, which roll out this month, were in keeping with Teacher's "rich history in pioneering packaging", brand manager Janette Peat said.
