What On Earth claims a QR code trial resulted in a 30% increase in year-on-year sales of its organic pizzas.
The organic specialists said the QR codes had generated a significant increase in customer contact, particularly from mobile phones, a rise in fans on its social media profiles and a “huge increase” in visits to its website and blog.
What On Earth will now extend the QR codes to its range of organic cheesecakes, berries and chopped tomatoes.
“The QR codes show we are easy to contact,” said marketing manager Laura Collins. “We hope that introducing them across all our retail products will further encourage people to interact with us online.”
