Tesco continues its upward surge this week and storms six percentage points ahead of its nearest rival. Safeway, Asda and Sainsbury are snapping at its heels with little to separate them. Heinz loses its grip on the brand chart to Kellogg's which finally clinches the top spot. Müller, John West, Jacobs and Stella Artois are all new entries, with Müller shooting straight in at number three. Müller activity focuses on multibuy offers and contributes to the dominance of the dairy section, which enters at number two. Soft drinks, dominated by multibuys, is another new entry, straight in at number one. Coca-Cola continues to be strong and secures its own position in the brand chart. Soft drinks is further supported by 7Up and Tango. Alcoholic drinks slips, although Stella Artois entered the chart at number 10. {{GROCER 33 }}
