Mattessons smoked pork sausages are hitting TV screens in Scotland and the Border regions next month for the first time in 20 years. Running for ten weeks, the campaign carries the strapline 'U want it' and focuses on the brand's taste.
It forms part of a £7m marketing spend for the Mattessons brand this year and the idea is that 85% of the target housewife audience will see the ad seven times.
Mattessons is also adding a Hot & Spicy chilli flavour to the line-up and said regional test trials had been very successful.
The new line has black packaging, which is rolling out now across the existing line-up. Rsp is £1.14 for a 227g pack.
