The 128-seat restaurant will serve a variety of Marks and Spencer food products. Menu options will vary throughout the day from porridge made with organic milk to roasts, Portobello mushroom & ale pie and mushroom risotto & spinach crepes. A range of gourmet desserts are also on offer, from creamy tiramisu to classic bread and butter pudding.
The store also boasts a deli bar and a home technology department. The introduction of new merchandising units has also enabled the store to stock more clothing and food ranges.
The 120,000 sq ft store has been refurbished as part of the retailer's programme to modernise all its outlets over the next few years.
An M&S spokeswoman said: "We will have updated 35% of our sales space by the end of the year."
