Customers buying steak from the Co-operative Group are in with the chance of winning the trip of a lifetime to Australia to see the Rugby World Cup final.

The retailer has teamed up with suppliers Anglo Beef Processors to organise the prize draw promotion which is being featured on packs of Co-op rump steak and will be available in most stores.

The packs will be on shelf until October 13, and Anna Fradgley, category marketing manager, said: “This is the first time we’ve offered a trip to one of the biggest sporting events in the world and we’re hoping it will create stimulus around the fixture.”
