The Famous Grouse is returning to TV screens this winter with a new Christmas advertising campaign.

The £1.5m campaign comprises three executions starring the grouse icon, one of which is a dedicated creative for The Famous Grouse 10-year-old Malt. The grouse is shown in three different settings: as a bonnet ornament on a 1930s classic car, balanced on a rock in the middle of a Scottish storm; and searching for the dram by torchlight in a dark room.

Emma Heath, marketing manager for distributor Maxxium UK, said: "The Famous Grouse enjoyed a successful Christmas last year and we have a competitive plan in place for 2006."
