As Fortnum & Mason found out at the weekend, the so-called Big Society means different things to different people.
For some folks, it means donning a balaclava and enforcing a temporary embargo on £15 jars of marmalade. For Dalton Philips, who was with us last week as guest editor, it means finding jobs for people who, until recently, lived on the streets full-time, not just when they were being kettled by riot police.
Thanks to the magic of the internet, you can watch the video of our exclusive Q&A in high-def 3D news-o-vision – just as if you were in the room with the Morrisons chief executive and our very own news editor, Ronan Hegarty (he’s the one on the left).
If you’re too pressed for time to watch the whole thing, you’ll also find easily some digestible chunks of video further down: Philips talking about the current state of the market; what the future holds for Morrisons; and how he’s shaping the supermarket’s top team. And he also answers questions sent in by you, the readers.
We’ll have news of some more big names lined up to guest-edit the mag very soon, so watch this space.
