SHARP CONTENDERS Although lemonade is primarily an own label sector, Schweppes has shown tremendous growth in 1999 and most recent AC Nielsen figures show the brand with 13% value share of lemonades. TV advertising in 2000 will support Schweppes lemonade and the Schweppes brand as a whole. The brand will continue to sponsor Formula 1 and will be supported in store with consumer promotions later this year. A new entrant to the market is New R Whites Cloudy Lemonade from Britvic.
