Warburtons capitalised on the opportunities of the burgeoning organic market with the April launch of organic white and wholemeal stoneground loaves and is helping make organic bread more mainstream. It says its Soil Association certified premium sliced bread is now number one organic bread in its northern and Scottish heartlands, with a market share of 18.1% in the first seven months of launch.
