The Grocer’s annual search for the outstanding branded products of the fmcg industry gets underway this week.
Entries are now open for the 2014 New Product Awards, and if you have a potential star product in your portfolio we want to hear from you.
This year, more than 200 products battled across 28 categories - with winners ranging from small producers such as dips supplier G’Nosh to fmcg giant Heinz with Five Beanz.
To be eligible for next year’s awards, products must have been reformulated, repackaged or launched into the UK market between 1 January 2013 and 28 February 2014, which is the deadline for entries.
For 2014, the judging - which is conducted by consumers and experts - is being refined with the introduction of an Innovation Rating that enables our experts to upweight scores for products that are not only well executed but genuinely innovative. Winners will be revealed at the Marriot Grosvenor Square, London, on 30 September.
