While milk stumbles from one crisis to another, dairy alternative Alpro saw value sales jump almost a quarter last year to over £125m, and it was ranked the second largest milk brand of the year, with sales topping £95m [Nielsen 52 w/e 10 October 2015]. It it has shown no sign of slowing down, with the launch of a further push into the yoghurt category last month.
