The Saucy fish Co has launched its first dish containing meat.
The tapas-inspired dish - squid, king prawn & chorizo with a sherry & herb sauce - rolls into Waitrose this week and joins the brand’s existing ‘easy to cook’ foil-bake fish on shelf (rsp: £4.50/ pack servng two).
“It really brings something unique to the fish aisle,” said The Saucy Fish Co MD Simon Smith. “We’ve seen a growth in sales within the convenience sector, and our easy to cook foil bake bag range of products are perfectly placed to cater to this audience.”
The NPD comes as the company relaunched its website, which now includes a section featuring food news and cooking tips.
