Fresh salmon from The Scottish Salmon Company is to be served up at Moscow restaurants after the company won its first contract to supply salmon to the country.

Russia is the latest international market to take the fish, and adds to a growing list of the company's export countries, including Japan, the Middle East and the US. "Developing our offering internationally is vitally important," said COO Stewart McLelland.

The company hopes that Russia will eventually account for 5% of its export sales.
