Three Spirit Livener

Three Spirit Livener contains natural caffeine from guayusa and green tea.

Non-alcoholic spirits brand Three Spirit has landed a grocery debut with Waitrose.

The brand’s Nightcap and Livener expressions have rolled out across 260 stores nationwide (rsp: £26/70cl).

It marked the first time a functional non-alcoholic spirit had secured a UK grocery listing, Three Spirit claimed.

“This is a huge moment not only for Three Spirit but also for the functional beverage category,” said Three Spirit head of sales Luke McFayden. “It shows that shoppers are increasingly looking for feeling as well as flavour in their key drinking moments and rituals and we are so excited to provide this for even more people by partnering with Waitrose.”

Three Spirit’s Nightcap expression contains a blend of hops, lemon balm, valerian and ashwagandha and is designed to be served as an “effortlessly elegant nightcap” according to the brand.

Livener, meanwhile, contains natural caffeine from guayusa and green tea, making it “the ideal companion for celebratory occasions and daytime drinking moments”.

Three Spirit also produces a Social variant, which contains lion’s mane, yerba mate, and damiana.

The brand was founded in London in 2018 by Meeta Gournay, Tatiana Mercer and Dash Lilley and also sells to specialist drinks retailers including Majestic, The Whisky Exchange and Master of Malt.
