The Thresher Group is planning more extensions to its Origin wine brand after only seven days on shelf.
The off-licence chain intends to add a Californian Zinfandel and a Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc within a fortnight as the portfolio develops to 11 wines from six countries.
Kevin Styles, sales and marketing director at Thresher Group, said: "It is essential that Origin keeps evolving to ensure that we continue to meet consumer demand and create an environment where our customers experiment with the range.
"We have established integrity around the way we source the wines, choosing on quality, rather than country or producer, and we know that this, combined with the great tasting selection, will help us build consumer loyalty."
