The company has launched Carnation Caramel, its latest edition to the Carnation range, which is a ready-made Dulce de Leche sauce. According to Nestlé, it has been developed as a result of consumer demand to make caramel-based puddings more convenient.
Packaged in an easy-open can, Nestlé said Carnation Caramel would boost the profile of the brand and make it more appealing to consumers who are cooking from scratch less often. Nelleke Kloet, category manger for Nestlé ambient desserts, said: “Lots of people who would like to make desserts are afraid of failure. We believe it will provide consumers with a convenient solution.”
The sauce comes in a 397g tin with an rsp of £1.69.
