PepsiCo UK and Ireland has promoted its top marketer Neil Campbell to head up the newly formed Walkers business unit.
Campbell, who was vice president of marketing, covering Walkers, Tropicana and Quaker, was responsible for the Walkers free walk-o-meter campaign and the launches of Nobby’s and Potato Heads.
He takes charge of Walkers in the role of general manager following a management shake up at PepsiCo.
Two other business units have been created in the restructure that aims to provide a focus on innovation and growth for each unit. Mary Barnard has been promoted from impulse retail director to general manager for the Quaker, Tropicana and PJ’s business unit.
And Peter Gutierrez takes up the position of general manager for Pepsi. He has been with PepsiCo for 10 years and his roles include regional VP for Pepsi UK & Ireland and a variety of senior roles in marketing and general management in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia.
