Jam brand F Duerr & Sons is making its first move into the snacking and lunchbox sector with the launch of Duerr's Dips. The Dips will have two varieties: strawberry and chocolate, and both packs have six sweet finger biscuits. Duerr's hopes the launch will inject a bit of excitement into the jams, preserves and sweets spreads fixture which it says "is crying out for new and innovative products". The consumer launch in the summer will focus on sponsorship of the Big Dipper roller coaster in Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Duerr's Dips is sponsoring the world record attempt by Richard Rodriguez to spend 2000 hours non-stop riding on the Big Dipper. The event will be called The Duerr's Dipathon, the Big Dipper and Rodriguez will carry Duerr's Dips branding, and Duerr's aims to exploit international media coverage of the event. It will also run Duerr's Dips Talent Shows in the north-west. Ongoing support for the brand will include national kids' press advertising and product sampling. Rsp: 49P. {{P&P }}
