Soft drinks is booming, but the £3.2bn category ­ grocery's biggest ­ is "nowhere near maturity". The Britvic Soft Drinks Category Report 2002 also reveals that growth at 4% was spearheaded by still drinks, especially bottled water ­ up 16% in value ­ and fruit juice, up 6%. And it shows the impulse sector reversed the steep decline of previous years to show 1% value growth.
