Marmite is aiming to become a trend setter of a different kind ­ with T-shirts designed by Vivienne Westwood. Brand owner Unilever Bestfoods asked the fashion guru to come up with an eyecatching design for the giveaway attire as part of an on-pack promotion to celebrate 100 years on shelf. Running from the end of this month until Christmas, a total of 10,000 T-shirts could go to consumers who find Love & Hate' embossed on the reverse of the famous yellow lid. Those who can't wait to find a winning pack can buy them for £10 by sending off a claim form provided in the lid. Brand manager Oliver Bradley said: "We thought it apt to link two British icons (Marmite and Westwood) who have a cheeky, irreverent character." {{P&P }}
