Camelot has unveiled plans to roll out 4,000 digital display units, which communicate the latest lottery jackpot figures and games, to retailers by November.
The move follows successful trials in selected stores, where weekly sales were boosted by an average of 3%. A total of 1,450 media screens and 2,500 electronic jackpot communicators will be installed free of charge in shops selling tickets.
The media screens display information on games, promotions and events. The jackpot communicators are a simpler version, providing ticker-tape details of EuroMillions jackpots, Lotto Rollovers and Superdraws.
