GlaxoSmithkline is spooning out £400,000 to back its Day and Night Nurse winter remedies in a poster and regional radio campaign.
Timed to coincide with the cold and flu season, the radio ads feature a backing track inspired by the reggae song Night Nurse. They will run on the Capital FM network, which includes stations in London, Birmingham, Cardiff and the Home Counties.
The on-air activity will be backed by posters from early next month until the new year, showing a woman snuggling under a duvet.
The aim is to stress the relief the products can bring from cold and flu symptoms and the advantage of a good night’s sleep.
The theme has been extended to new point of sale material including posters, wobblers and shelf-edgers.
