Healthcare giant Johnson and Johnson has launched an easy-fix heartburn remedy which it is backing with more than £2m of TV and radio support. Pepcidtwo promises 12-hour relief from heartburn, acid indigestion and "excess acid symptoms" in just two minutes and in the form of a mint tasting chewable tablet. A total of £2.3m has been earmarked for ads on national channels and stations between now and the New Year, said the company.
