Sir; I am thrilled to see Nestle has moved towards (but not into) Fairtrade with its "innovative" new bar and grabbed the niche created by Divine chocolate over recent years (Focus on Confectionery, The Grocer, September 21).
It really is inspired marketing to create a new bar called Nestlé „ouble Cream which both hints at its origins in Divine stablemate Dubble bar and even alludes to being made from "divine double cream and fine cocoa beans".
My goodness, perhaps the cocoa farmers are getting a better deal too?
Or am I confused?
