Allders redevelopment

Department store Allders has chosen Alfred McAlpine Construction to redevelop its Arding & Hobbs store at Clapham Junction. The £20m site is likely to be transformed to create retail, leisure and residential space. Arding & Hobbs is in talks about reoccupying part of the site itself. But the redevelopment will bring back into use space now set aside for distribution and storage. The project follows other proposals for south London, including Swan Hill's retail development at Brixton. Conrad Ritblat is advising Allders. {{PROPERTY }}
