Sir; Coins that Care is a foreign currency collection campaign being supported by BP that aims to raise funds for 10 Red Cross societies across Europe. With the introduction of the euro in 12 countries at the start of 2002, many national currencies will become worthless a few months later. Leftover coins and notes donated to the UK Coins that Care campaign will be converted into sterling and used to support the work of the British Red Cross. People can donate their foreign currency in any British Red Cross shop, and at some 500 BP service stations across the country. Graham Sims Director, BP Oil UK {{LETTERS }}
