There's still plenty of time to enter the 2005 Food from Britain Export Awards, which are run in association with the Royal Bank of Scotland and the Grocer.

There are 10 categories to enter in the awards, which recognise the achievement of food and drinks exporters across all sectors. All applications will also be entered for the awards for best Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish and English exporter.

The Food from Britain Export Awards, now in their ninth year, offer a unique opportunity for UK business to be recognised for their export achievements.

With the latest figures predicting UK food and drink exports will top £10 billion for the first time in a decade, FFB is hoping to attract a record number of entries from across the country to reflect growth and success of the country's exporters.

Any UK food and drink business, large or small can enter. Entry is free and can be completed on-line through http://www.foodfrombritain.com/awards before the deadline on October 7.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony held at The Savoy Hotel in London on December 14 - where FFB will also unveil the company judged to be the Exporter of the Year.
