Babylicious owed creditors more than £700,000 when it fell into administration last September, documents filed at Companies House have revealed.

A recently filed statement of affairs revealed the frozen babyfood company owed £716,706. The biggest creditors were the banks, with NatWest owed £350,000 and HSBC £50,000, although suppliers listed include Danby's Foods (£25,294) and Premier Foods' RF Brookes (£17,713). Asda, Tesco and Ocado are also listed.

Babylicious continues to trade after a management buyout formed a new company under the name The Kids Food Company Ltd. The ranges Babylicious and Kiddylicious continue to be stocked by the major multiples.

Administrators revealed earlier this year that Babylicious collapsed because it was unable to get the supermarkets to stock its lines in dedicated freezers in the babyfood aisles.
