The variety discounter, which trades as B&M Bargains, moves this week from its base in Blackpool to a 625,000 sq ft DC that will house 600 staff.
Director Simon Arora said the move to larger premises would help B&M grow its store portfolio. It has more than 200 sites and is opening new stores at a rate of one a week.
"The DC holds some 80,000 pallets," Arora said. "Once we are fully operational, we should be able to service 400 stores through this facility."
