A poultry producer is showing its green roots by taking part in a new environmentally friendly fuel trial.
Banham Poultry, based in Attleborough, Norfolk, has teamed up with the University of East Anglia’s Carbon Reduction Project and bio-diesel manufacturer Global Commodities to take part in the most comprehensive trial of biodiesel fuel efficiency yet in the UK.
The green fuel is created from used cooking oil which is blended with mineral diesel.
