The independent trade is being targeted by Bass Take Home which has launched a dedicated business support service for them. The brewer has asked retailers what they want and as a result it has recruited 40 sales development representatives to provide a professional service. To help improve beer category profit, they will offer free merchandising and display advice, offer the latest point of sale material and help merchandise the fixture.
