Blue Nun owner Langguth Erben has announced the immediate transfer of its UK cash & carry distribution business to drinks giant Halewood International.
The news follows the recent announcement that the German wine supplier would be separating from its previous UK distributor, Ehrmanns.
“Halewood’s sales structure means it will be able to service our vitally important distribution in the cash & carry business and the independent sector and we are very appreciative of this further development in our partnership,” said Langguth export director Armin Wagner.
“We have worked with Halewood International since 2007, during which time we have seen the brand’s continued development with our on-trade customers. This has confirmed our mutual view that Blue Nun fits well within the Halewood range of brands.”
Halewood already handles the on-trade distribution of Langguth wines.
