Flint is the parliamentary under secretary of state for public health at the Department of Health and has specific responsibility for implementation of the Public Health White Paper.
Our event aims to bring together all the key stakeholders in the food and health debate. And Flint joins other influential speakers including: Julia Unwin, deputy chairwoman of the Food Standards Agency; Gavin Neath, chairman of Unilever UK and president of the Food and Drink Federation; and Joanne Denney-Finch, chief executive of industry think-tank IGD.
In addition, the issues will be discussed by a panel of experts - including Jeremy Preston of the Food Advertising Unit, Andrew Opie of the British Retail Consortium and John Dyson of the British Hospitality Association.
The FDF, the BRC, the British Soft Drinks Association, the British Cake Chocolate & Confectionery Association, the Provision Trade Federation and Dairy UK are all backing our seminar.
And the specialist food law group of solicitors Eversheds is sponsoring the event, which takes place in London on November 22. The seminar is free to attend - but places are strictly limited. To reserve your place, please e-mail sheila.Sheridan@william-reed.co.uk by November 7.
