Laurent-Perrier has announced three appointments in a drive to expand on and off trade sales. Daniel Brennan has been recruited as marketing director for the brand in the UK and assumes responsibility for co-ordinating trade and consumer programmes for the other brands in the portfolio, including Marqués de Riscal and Trinity Hill wines, and Punt e Mes. Brennan joins from Private Liquor Brands where he was product manager for the New World and Europe brands. Martin Abell joins from Oddbins as national account manager, with responsibility for sales in Scotland, Yorkshire and the north-east. Malcolm Kimmins, who joins the board as non-executive director, was chairman of the Barrow Group from 1988 to 2001 and md of WM Sanderson and Co before that. David Hesketh, md of Laurent-Perrier UK said: "I am delighted to have such a strong team on board.
