He said he planned to increase the company’s share of the own label market by improving customer service.
He said Sundora Foods could make more use of market trends to raise the profile of the brand.
“Sundora and dried fruit companies as a whole could do a lot more to capitalise on high profile issues such as healthy eating to drive sales.”
However, he added that companies needed to work harder at increasing exposure for products in stores.
