Cranswick, the meat processor, has made company veteran Jim Brisby its sales and marketing director.
Brisby has spent 15 years with the business since graduating from UMIST with a degree in business management. In 2004 he was appointed sales and marketing director of Cranswick Country Foods, a major subsidiary of Cranswick.
In a statement, the company said Brisby had been "an integral member of the team that has grown the business over the years".
Earlier this month the company unveiled a 19% rise in sales for the previous quarter.
